Chunky Booties

Hellow Bloggersphere,

It's been a while since we did an update on outfit post. In today's post, we were exploring ways to wear chunky booties with Singapore weather. These booties can only be seen in places that have more than one season and even though shops like Topshop, HnM sold these shoes, we tend not to buy them or put them in your lust list because of the weather.

On Larissa:

These chunky walkers are so light that you can wear it all day long! I pair it with a lightweight floral dress to fight the hot weather, giving a feminine touch. The chunky booties and mirror shade glasses man up the outfit, steering away from a too girly outfit.

Dress: H&M, Boots: Local Boutique (similar here), Bag: MCM, Sunglasses, Mango

On Selvia:
Pairing these booties can be very challenging because of the cut. For me, I choose a shift dress that has more structure but yet is short enough to exposed my lower leg to make sure my leg looked longer and not short and stumpy. Because of the more rocker feel the booties has, I amped up my look with all the rocker element to enhance that boots.

Dress: Gap, Booties: Lucky Brand, Bag: Tobi.com, Shades: Marc by marc Jacob

Staying Cool

Hi BloggerSphere,

Many of you may experience this sort of day before. When the weather is hot and humid, and you open your wardrobe, you decide to just slip in to just tshirts, shorts and slippers. In Singapore, this is a "standard" outfit. We decided to take on a different outlook by dressing up with cool and lightweight outfit to look chic and yet stay cool when strolling outdoors.

On Selvia:
Blazer is an essential piece to your closet. Despite the warm weather and scorching hot sun, malls in Singapore can be quite like a refrigerator. Sometimes its good to bring lightweight cardigans or blazers to keep you warm inside these malls.and Floral is one of the best key pieces to celebrate summer!

Blazer & Skorts: Zara, Top: local boutique from SF, Shoes: Lowry's Farm, Bag: Prada

On Larissa,

A lightweight chiffon top is key to beat the heat. I styled this chiffon top with a striking bodycon skirt and studded clutch to break from a monochromatic outfit. Bring in accents of gold and now you look chic and ready to hit the hot and humid streets of Singapore.

Top and Skirt: Stradivarius, Clutch: KateLove, Watch: Nixon, Shoes: Local Flea Market

Let Loose and Be Free

Hi BloggerSphere,
How are you guys doing? Summer time is not something that everyone can enjoy 360 days. Unfortunately/ Fortunately, Singapore is one of the city that experiences summer all year round. We love to explore the city and share them with you guys. Even the most hidden place like car  parks. Today, we went up to the rooftop of a carpark that is located beside the famous temple (Kwan Im Miao) here in Singapore. To juxtapose the clean and white architecture of the carpark, we are dressed in a total opposite of it.

What's in right now is ribbed boyfriend jeans and number/graphic t-shirts.
Larissa's ripped boyfriend jeans is paired with a nice simple sleeveless tank-top to bring the focus down to her pants while finishing her whole look with the vintage oversize shirt.

Larissa's: Top: Topshop, Jeans: Mango, Outerwear: Vintage, Shoes: Dr. Martens, Bag: KateLove, Glasses: Mango, Watch: Nixon

Sel's: Top & Skirt: HnM, Shoes: Matiko, Bag: Rachel Zoe, Glasses: Topshop

While Larissa is rocking her tomboy-chic look, Selvia style her number jersey with a more tighter skirt to balance out the baggy top. Adding a the leopard print will is making the outfit more daring and different as compared to a strap zara black heels(I am sure you guys know which one I am referring to).

Let us know how you guys style your ripped bf jeans and number t-shirt in the comment below. Thanks for reading.

Hi BloggerSphere,

Pattern and color is two fashion items that are timeless and fun. Add a pop or two colors into your outfit and trust me, your will feel happier and more confident. Since we have colors and patterns in our outfit, using minimum accessories will enhance the outfit.
Just threw in some gold or rose gold chunky watch and sunglasses to combat the strong sunlight, we are ready to explore the city.

Hello Blogger Sphere

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
We believe there are many of new bloggers are wondering and typing away what to write on the first entry now. It has to be something new, fresh and compelling but at the same time it can't be something cliche or boring. We too, encountered the same problem. Typing away words by words and deleting them because it wasn't good enough. Well, as you guys might get a little clue, YES! We are new. Let us briefly tell you guys about us.

We are currently located in little city called Singapore. Some of our friends that are living in America thought that Singapore is part of China since we are all ASIAN. But, the truth is, Singapore is a small metropolitan city that has summer all year round ( approx. 30 deg Celsius or about 86-90 Fahrenheit).  Singapore is located on the southern tip of Malay Peninsula, and that's explain why sometimes Singapore is too small to be seen in the map.

In this blog, we wanted to show you guys the beauty of this city as well as our tips, guides and style to combat the heat as well as exploring in depth of this metropolitan city.

Follow us to find out more about this unique city of Singapore.
